Taxonomy
Englathauma mellishae was named by Novokshonov et al. (2016). Its type specimen is NHMUK II.1396a,b, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Smokejacks Brickworks, which is in a Barremian pond claystone/siltstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
