Rosendolops primigenium
Taxonomy
Rosendolops primigenium was named by Goin and Candela (1996). Its type specimen is MLP 77-VI-14-3, a tooth (?M2 without roots), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Rosendolops.
