V. V. Baranov and R. B. Blodgett 2016 | Shell very small, elongated oval, with maximum width and thickness in the middle. Fold on ventral valve poorly developed and consists of two low plicae; sulcus on anterior margin bordered by two low plicae. Median plica in sulcus may be divided by longitudinal groove. Posterior half of the valves smooth; anterior half of the valves bear low plicae. Microornamentation consists of growth lamellae bearing radial capillae. In ventral valve, thin dental plates. Outer hinge plates thin and subhorizontal. |
