It was recombined as Luponovula rugosa by Sacco (1894) and Fehse (2013).

Synonyms
  • Cypraea proserpinae was named by Bayan (1870). It is a 3D body fossil.

    It was recombined as Luponovula proserpinae by Sacco (1894); it was synonymized subjectively with Luponovula rugosa by Dolin and Ledon (2002).
