Paracompsoceras landisi
Taxonomy
Paracompsoceras landisi was named by Cobban (1972). Its type specimen is USNM 166358, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D6130, north of Little Narrows, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in New Mexico. It is the type species of Paracompsoceras.
