Belodina was named by Ethington (1959) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llvi-l O Ashg-u Sepkoski's reference number: 800]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Panderodontidae by Leslie (1997); and to Conodontophorida by Sepkoski (2002).

All S elements exhibit distinct flaring of anterior-margin profile for short distance anterior of anteriobasal corner.
