Taxonomy
Anagymnites grandis was named by Vavilov and Arkadiev (1986). Its type specimen is LGI 88/315, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuora-Khaya Mountain, tardus zone, lower Olenek River, which is in an Aegean marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
