Taxonomy
Wexfordia dautzenbergi was named by Harmer (1921). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blackwater, which is in a Pleistocene marine conglomerate in the Wexford Gravels Formation of Ireland. It is the type species of Wexfordia.
