Merelina saginata
Taxonomy
Merelina saginata was named by Laws (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pakaurangi Point, Kaipara Harbour, which is in an Otaian coastal sandstone in the Pakaurangi Formation of New Zealand.
