Discussion

"Pandorina was preoccupied by J. B. Bory, 1826, and is to be replaced by Pandorinellina, n. name. Wilbert Hass has informed us that he had plans to use it in his forthcoming contribution to the Treatise of Invertebrate Paleontology, and the name should be attributed to him."

Taxonomy
Pandorinellina was named by Müller and Müller (1957) [Sepkoski's age data: D Gedi-u C Tour-l Sepkoski's reference number: 800].

It was assigned to Conodontophorida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Polygnathidae by Donoghue et al. (2008).
