Taxonomy
Siphonalia propenodosa was named by Bartrum (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaawa Creek, which is in an Opoitian marine sandstone in the Kaawa Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Austrofusus propenodosa by Bartrum and Powell (1928); it was recombined as Zelandiella propenodosa by Beu et al. (1990).
