Altenglanerpeton schroederi
Taxonomy
Altenglanerpeton schroederi was named by Glienke (2012). Its type specimen is BGR(B) X 609, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Werschweiler near St. Wendel-Saar, which is in an Asselian lacustrine carbonate in the Altengan Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Altenglanerpeton.
