Taxonomy
Anaklinoceras minutum was named by Kennedy et al. (2000). Its type specimen is USNM 476096, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D2824, north of Buckeye, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Pierre Shale Formation of Colorado.
