Medilyda distorta
Taxonomy
Medilyda distorta was named by Wang and Rasnitsyn (2016). Its type specimen is CNU-HYM-NN-2012171, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
