Jenneria (Projenneria) ludoviciana
Taxonomy
Cypraea ludoviciana was named by Johnson (1899) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Eocene; Louisiana.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montgomery Landing (Moodys Branch), which is in a Bartonian marine sandstone in the Moodys Branch Formation of Louisiana.
It was recombined as Jenneria (Projenneria) ludoviciania by Dolin (1997); it was recombined as Projenneria ludoviciana by Fehse and Vicián (2008); it was recombined as Jenneria (Projenneria) ludoviciana by Dolin and Pacaud (2009).
