Liaous shaiwensis
Taxonomy
Liaous shaiwensis was named by He and Chen (2016). Its type specimen is SW-2-001, a valve (dorsal internal mold), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Shaiwa section, bed 48, which is in a Bithynian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Xinyuan Formation of China. It is the type species of Liaous.
