Taxonomy
Manchurochelys donhai was named by Ma (1986). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Donghai Coal Mine, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Chengzihe Formation of China.
It was recombined as Ordosemys donhai by Brinkman et al. (2008).
