Sauroctonus progressus

Taxonomy
Arctognathus progressus was named by Hartmann-Weinberg (1938). Its type specimen is PIN 156/5, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Semin Ovrag, PIN 156, which is in a Severodvinian terrestrial sandstone in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Sauroctonus progressus by Sigogneau-Russell (1989), Battail and Surkov (2000) and Ivakhnenko (2003).
