Pachydiscoides janeti

Taxonomy
Sonneratia janeti was named by de Grossouvre (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R51860, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Carrières de la Ribochère, Couture (Le Mesle collection), which is in a Coniacian carbonate grainstone in the Craie de Villedieu Formation of France. It is the type species of Pachydiscoides.

It was recombined as Pachydiscoides janeti by Kennedy (1984).
