Paratexanites zeilleri

Taxonomy
Mortoniceras zeilleri was named by de Grossouvre (1894). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Carrières de la Ribochère, Couture (Sorbonne collection), which is in a Coniacian carbonate grainstone in the Craie de Villedieu Formation of France. It is the type species of Paratexanites.

It was recombined as Paratexanites zeilleri by Kennedy (1984) and Kennedy (1995).
