Taxonomy
Schloenbachia nanclasi was named by de Grossouvre (1894). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Line from PĂ©rigueux to Coutras, which is in a Coniacian carbonate limestone in France.

It was recombined as Metatissotia nanclasi by Kennedy (1984).
