Nowakites savini
Taxonomy
Sonneratia savini was named by de Grossouvre (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.J05466, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Road from Sougraigne to Les Croutets (Marnes Bleues a Mortoniceras texanum), which is in a Santonian/Santonian carbonate marl in France.
It was recombined as Nowakites savini by Kennedy (1995).
