Taxonomy
Fayettevillea densistriata was named by Kuzina and Yatskov (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 4279/2132, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berkha Island, locality 5, Novaya Zemlya, which is in an Arnsbergian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
