Taxonomy
Tetraspidoceras westfieldense was named by Edmunds et al. (2003). Its type specimen is OUM J.75000, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gleviceras Limestone (Bed 1b), St. Peter's Field, Radstock, which is in a Raricostatum carbonate grainstone in the United Kingdom.
