C. L. Garvie 1996 | Shell small, elongate, outer lip almost straight medially, attenuate at both ends, maximum diameter of base at about one-quarter of the length from the posterior end. Shell smooth medially, excepting at both ends, where under a microscope a few very faint, close together, spiral fines may be seen. Outer lip with about 46 small similarly-sized small teeth. Inner lip with about 33 small teeth gradually decreasing in size posteriorly, disappearing just above the point of maximum inflation, the two terminal teeth slightly more elongate and oblique. A small smooth fossula just visible. Posterior end of the inner lip with a thick pad of callus which is the terminal end of an oblique columella fold. |
