Taxonomy
Cypraeerato badenica was named by Fehse and Grego (2012). Its type specimen is ZSM 20090084, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Borsodbóta, which is in a Badenian coastal sandstone in Hungary.
