It was recombined as Lamellaria perspicua by Marquet (1997) and Gofas et al. (2001).

R. Marquet 1997Fairly large, fragile shell, consisting of two and a half whorls, with an elevated spire and a deep suture. The aperture is extremely large. A narrow callus is present. The ornament consists of growth lines only.
