Angulaticeras boucaultianum

Taxonomy
Ammonites boucaultianus was named by d'Orbigny (1844). Its type specimen is MCZ 3184 or MNHN.F.R04092 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Semur en Auxois, which is in a Sinemurian marine limestone in France. It is the type species of Boucaulticeras.

It was recombined as Boucaulticeras boucaultianum by Spath (1924); it was recombined as Angulaticeras boucaultianum by Corna and Dommergues (1995) and Edmunds et al. (2016).
