Taxonomy
Nautilus dubaleni was named by Peyrot (1932). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mont-de-Marsan, which is in a Burdigalian marine horizon in France.

It was recombined as Eutrephoceras dubaleni by Kummel (1956).
