Hercoglossa popenoei
Taxonomy
Hercoglossa popenoei was named by Miller and Downs (1950). Its type specimen is UCLA 10655, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCLA 2372, Arroyo Santa Catarina, which is in a Selandian marine sandstone in the Sepultura Formation of Mexico.
