Aristerostrophia gracilis

Taxonomy
Angularia (Aristerostrophia) gracilis was named by Broili (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pachycardientuff Fauna, Seiser Alm, which is in a Longobardian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Aristerostrophia gracilis by Guzhov (2004).

F. Broili 1907Gehäuse turmförmig, links gewunden mit einer infrasuturalen Kante auf den mäßig gewölbten Umgängen, die voneinander durch vertiefte Nähte getrennt und stufenförmig abgesetzt sind. Windungen mit kräftigen, nach vorn leicht konkaven Querrippen (ca. 12), die an der infrasuturalen Kante sich dornartig verstärken können, und erhabenen, dicht stehenden Längskielchen verziert. Basis gewölbt. Mündung oval mit Ausguß. Anfangswindungen geneigt.
