Taxonomy
Eutrichiurides winkleri was named by Casier (1946). Its type specimen is IRSNB 9219 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Forest, which is in a Ypresian marine claystone in the Argile des Flandres Formation of Belgium.
