Nautilus praepompilius

Taxonomy
Nautilus praepompilius was named by Shimansky (1957). Its type specimen is PIN 1264/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North Precipice, Ustjurt Plateau, which is in a Priabonian offshore siliciclastic in the Chegan Formation of Kazakhstan.
