Cenoceras lupheri
Taxonomy
Bisiphytes (Cenoceras) lupheri was named by Kummel (1954). Its type specimen is USNM 158418, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 21612, Colpitts Ranch, which is in a Discites marine siliciclastic in the Snowshoe Formation of Oregon.
It was recombined as Cenoceras lupheri by Kummel (1956).
