Exallerix gaolanshanensis
Taxonomy
Metexallerix gaolanshanensis was named by Qiu and Gu (1988). Its type specimen is LDV 860901, a partial skeleton (Skull, lower jaw and four cervicals), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1 km south of Lanzhou railway station, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in China.
It was recombined as Exallerix gaolanshanensis by Lopatin and Zazhigin (2003).
