Hypselohaptodus grandis
Taxonomy
Haptodus grandis was named by Paton (1974). Its type specimen is Gz 1071, a maxilla (part of the left maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kenilworth, which is in an Asselian fluvial siliciclastic in the Kenilworth Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Hypselohaptodus grandis by Spindler (2015).
