Type and only specimen ROM 43608, was originally Haptodus garnettensis (Laurin,1993)
Taxonomy
Kenomagnathus scotti was named by Spindler (2020). Its type specimen is ROM 43608, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Garnett Quarry, which is in a Missourian fine channel fill mudstone in the Stanton Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Kenomagnathus.
