Type and only specimen ROM 43601, was originally Haptodus garnettensis (Laurin, 1993, Fig., 8 D)
Taxonomy
Tenuacaptor reiszi was named by Spindler (2015). It is not extant. Its type specimen is ROM 43601, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Garnett Quarry, which is in a Missourian fine channel fill mudstone in the Stanton Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Tenuacaptor.
