Ruthenosaurus russellorum
Taxonomy
Ruthenosaurus russellorum was named by Reisz et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.MCL1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saint-Christophe-Vallon, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian terrestrial siltstone/mudstone in the M1-M2 Formation of France. It is the type species of Ruthenosaurus.
