Taxonomy
Coluber cadurci was named by Rage (1974). Its type specimen is Universite de Montpellier MGT 3505, a set of vertebrae (several dorsal and caudal vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mas de Got A, which is in a MP 22 terrestrial phosphorite in France.
