Taxonomy
Pseudogastrioceras relicuum was named by Korn and Ghaderi (2016). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.25173, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ali Bashi N, float, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Ali Bashi Formation of Iran.
