Taxonomy
Glosselytron linguale was named by Ponomarenko (2000). Its type specimen is PIN 4305/243, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bor-Tologoi (PIN collection 4305), which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Tsankhin Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Mongolojurina linguale by Rasnitsyn and Aristov (2013) and Pérez-de la Fuente et al. (2022).
