Pristerodon oudebergensis

Taxonomy
Hueneus oudebergensis was named by Toerien (1953). Its type specimen is BPI 303, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oudeberg (Pass and Plateau) - Cistecephalus Assemblage Zone, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa. It is the type species of Hueneus.

It was recombined as Pristerodon oudebergensis by King and Rubidge (1993).
