Iberolophus jimenezi
Taxonomy
Iberolophus jimenezi was named by Badiola and Cuesta (2008). Its type specimen is US 11800, a mandible (right hemimandible, exhibiting p1 and m1 alveoli, and the p2–p4 and m2–m3 series), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mazaterón, which is in a Bartonian lacustrine marl/sandstone in the Mazaterón Formation of Spain.
