Gracilocyon igniculus

Taxonomy
Miacis igniculus was named by Beard and Dawson (2009). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 23989, a tooth (left p4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.

It was recombined as Gracilocyon igniculus by Solé et al. (2013).
