Plesiesthonyx minimus
Taxonomy
Franchaius minimus was named by Baudry (1992). Its type specimen is MNHN.Mu-197-L, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6167, Mutigny quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France.
It was recombined as Plesiesthonyx minimus by Hooker (2010).
