Martiniopsis punjabica
Taxonomy
Mentzelia punjabica was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 17063, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SE of Shahalanwali, Narsinghphoar, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Martiniopsis punjabica by Shen et al. (2016).
