Aralotherium sui
Taxonomy
Paraceratherium sui was named by Ye et al. (2003). Its type specimen is IVPP V 13382, a mandible (pair of fragmentary lower jaws), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Saerduoyila (XJ 20004), which is in an Oligocene channel sandstone in the Tieersihabahe Formation of China.
It was recombined as Aralotherium sui by Qiu and Wang (2007).
