Taxonomy
Stenoplesictis crocheti was named by Peigné and de Bonis (1999). Its type specimen is PFRA 417, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pech du Fraysse, which is in a MP 28 terrestrial horizon in France.
