Taxonomy
Cymahoplites hohendorfensis was named by Lehmann et al. (2013). Its type specimen is GSUB C5590, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hohendorf Woods, which is in an Albian marine sandstone in Germany.
